Bending Limitations
In this world there are a chosen few who can control their element, known as benders. Each of the four nations has their own element. The Fire Nation has the element of fire, the Earth Kingdom the element of earth, the Air Nomads the element of air and the Water Tribes the element of water. Each element has its specialties, and each individual has a realistic amount of power. It is incredibly rare for elements of each nation to be combined, as only the Avatar can successfully use all four elements. Very few masters, however, have incorporated ideas from other elements to make their own unique type of bending within their element.
There are some limitations on bending abilities and they are as follows:

- ~*{ Prodigies }*~
A prodigy is someone of a young age that has the power of someone who has been training for years upon years or in simple terms a highly talented child or youth. As a general rule for this forum anyone under 20 who is considered to be a master bender is considered a prodigy. Any character listed as a prodigy or “master bender” that is under the age of 20 will be asked to have their age or mastery of bending fixed. Prodigies are incredibly rare and it is highly unlikely for there to be more than a handful in the world.
~*{ Lightning, Metal, and Blood Bending }*~
Lightning bending is described as something that is extremely difficult to do and because of this there are hardly any lightning benders in the world. The same goes for metal bending, as it is hard to sense the earth within metal. This type of bending is practically nonexistent. Blood bending is considered morally and legally wrong. All blood benders and their teachings should be extinct.
